Puck from the Real World Accused of Domestic Violence
Fans of the former Real World member David Edward "Puck" Rainey may not have been surprised to hear about his recent arrest.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Puck was taken into custody on June 19 after officers received a call for a possible domestic violence incident. After speaking with the residents of the home, Puck was charged on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a cohabitant or spouse. The case was brought to the Los Angeles city attorney by the LAPD to seek a misdemeanor spousal battery filing.
The former Real World star is still being held at the Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond. He will appear next in court on July 6 in San Fernando.
Puck rose to fame on "The Real World" as a bike messenger with a serious temper on the third season. This is not the first run-in with the law that Puck has experienced, but is rather the latest in a long list of charges including other domestic violence-related incidents going back as far as ten years.
