Rock Star Accused of Domestic Violence

Police were called to a Los Angeles home last week to answer a domestic violence call, only to find that the suspect was a rock star.

According to police reports, a neighbor called in to report yelling and loud noises coming from the star's home which he shares with his girlfriend. When Los Angeles Police Department officers arrived on the scene, they learned that the star had locked his girlfriend inside the duplex. He refused to let police enter or to let her leave, so the SWAT team was called to the scene.

After a brief standoff between the star and the SWAT team, he finally agreed to let the girlfriend leave, and shortly after gave himself up. When officers entered the home, they found a high-powered rifle that contained a complete round of ammunition. After speaking with the girlfriend, officers also learned that the star had struck her several times as she was attempting to gather her personal belongings in order to move out of their home.
