Peter Frampton Decides to End Marriage
Another celebrity couple has decided to call it quits, this time in the music industry.
According to court documents rocker Peter Frampton has decided to end his marriage to Tina Elfers. The two have been together for 15 years, and have one child together. Although the couple has been separated since New Year's Eve, the singer filed for divorce in the Los Angeles County Superior Court this week, citing irreconcilable differences.
Along with other items, Frampton is asking that Elfers have primary physical custody of their 15-year-old daughter, Mia, who is attending a Los Angeles high school near the marital home. However, he has asked for visitation rights and joint legal custody of their daughter.
The singer is now completing his tour to celebrate the 35th anniversary of his album "Frampton Comes Alive!" which is scheduled to end in November.
