Wife of Yankees' GM Files for Divorce
After hearing about not one but two affairs, one wife has finally decided to get a divorce. It seems as though Brad Cashman, the general manager of the Yankees, has not been faithful to his wife Mary Cashman and that has prompted her to seek a divorce. Cashman entered her divorce papers last week in a Connecticut court near their home. She spoke about the her marriage and about how it had "broken down irretrievably." In addition to half of their property and alimony, his wife is seeking joint custody of their two children, an 8-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter.
While this is not the first time that Brad has been accused of infidelity, the second time was even more damaging for the couple. When Mary learned that the second mistress was trying to extort thousands of dollars from him, she decided to terminate the marriage. The woman has since been arrested for her extortion attempts and was moved to Rikers Island Prison after being unable to make bail.
