Former Arizona Wildcat Arrested for Suspected Domestic Violence

News sources say that a young man once known for his athletic prowess stands accused of having a serious temper and anger management issues. Jesse Perry, who played for the Arizona Wildcats, was taken into custody last week on suspicion of domestic violence. According to the police report, 22-year-old Perry was detained by police when a woman with whom he used to have a relationship with called 911. Although the details of the incident are not being released to the press, it is known that the victim was treated at a local hospital for her injuries. The extent of those injuries is unknown at this time.
When police arrived on the scene, the suspect was not present. The University of Arizona Athletics Department helped the police department located the former athlete, who then turned himself into the authorities. Perry enjoyed a modicum of success while playing for the Wildcats. He could often be seen on the court as an undersized center. His average on the court was 4.4 rebounds and 6.6 points per game.
