Community Spotlight: Family Law Attorney Jim Green embraces helping others

San Diego: Community spotlight: James "Jim" Green. A breath of fresh air in the world of law. Attorney James Green, of Claery & Green, has openly stated that being able to help individuals through their difficult times is the most rewarding aspect of family law for him. He stated that helping others has always been a passion of his and it was during his time in the military that he was first able to help his friends. Through his years as an officer in the Marines, Green shared that his comrades would often seek his counsel in matters related to family and relationship problems.

These experiences brought him joy and he was able to learn from them in law school years later. While at the University of Kansas, Green experienced the same situation. During stressful periods of final exams his friends and acquaintances would also seek out his help. At this point it was when Green knew he was to pursue a career in family law. Helping others came naturally to him and he enjoyed the satisfaction it gave. Green also carried this insight through his pursuit of a LLM in Taxation and a Master’s in Business Administration.

As a family law attorney he focuses on just simply listening to clients discuss the stress they feel and having the talk about what they want from their life. He manages to calm others down through having them elicit their own confidences so they can get through the stressful period in their lives. Green helps others through their difficulties in family law and encourages his clients to speak with him personally about any questions or concerns that arise during the proceedings.

James W. Green is admitted to the practice law in the United States Federal Court and is licensed by the State Bar of California. As a member of numerous professional organizations such as the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Diego Bar Association, Attorney Jim Green has the compassion and experience needed to provide clients with quality services.
