Due to ongoing budget cuts, the business offices at all San Diego Superior Courts will close at 12:00 p.m. every Friday, effective September 3, 2012. Litigants should keep this in mind when calculating filing deadlines. These closures are not considered a court holiday, so they have a different effect on deadlines then holidays would.
The Superior Court has provided no end date for these closures, as they estimate that further reductions may be necessary.
